At Crossborder we are always on the lookout for ways to improve and optimise ours, and our clients’ supply chains and we believe this solution does exactly that, with significant savings in both transit time and cost.

- Quicker transit times – by obtaining the Amazon booking slot first and collecting from origin in line with the delivery date, we can often collect and deliver within 2-3 days.
- Customs Clearance – all shipments are routed through Dover-Calais using the French smart border. By processing customs through France, we can also take advantage of the Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) scheme or regime 42, so that you do not have to outlay import VAT on arrival.
- Cost Savings – As we are able to deliver direct to Amazon FC’s it means we utilise only one truck and remove all third party warehouse handling and pallet network requirements from the supply chain, because of this it is now significantly more cost-effective and as a result you will find it can be more cost-efficient to send as little as 6 pallets as a full trailer, as opposed to on a groupage service.
